Prior to joining PSF, Kathryn graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Real Estate from Texas A&M University.
Kathryn joined the PSF Team in February 2018 as a Loan Closer, where she is responsible for assisting the loan manager in all activities related to loan closings.
Prior to joining PSF, Theresa spent 5 years as a senior real estate paralegal with Forestar Group (NYSE: FOR), and the previous 17 years with Temple-Inland, both based in Austin, TX
Theresa brings nearly 25 years of legal commercial real estate experience and professionalism to our team, and works closely with our borrowers and borrower’s counsel, PSF management, and PSF outside counsel on all legal matters surrounding our transactions.
Theresa obtained her certificate of Legal Assistant/Paralegal from the Southern Career Institute of Paralegal Studies.
Prior to joining PSF, Orlagh was the head sales assistant at Imperial Capital, based in NYC. Imperial is a boutique investment bank and sales and trading firm with over 30 sales and trading professionals.
Before joining Imperial Capital, Orlagh worked on the loan closing desk at Jeffries Group (NYSE: JEF) in NYC.
At PSF, Orlagh is responsible for loan closings, managing our third party loan servicers, managing draw requests, and communications with our banking and capital partners.
Orlagh received her undergraduate degree from Texas State University.
Prior to joining PSF, Valdez was a tenant rep broker at Viceroy Realty Advisors, a boutique commercial estate services firm based in Austin, TX.
Matt is responsible for identifying, building and cultivating new and existing relationships with commercial real estate professionals focused on net lease developments and expanding PSF’s reach into new markets.
Matt received his undergraduate degree and MBA from St. Edwards University in Austin, TX.
Prior to joining PSF, Dennis was a senior financial analyst at Medical Properties Trust (NYSE: MPW), a publically traded REIT with over $6B in assets and 200 properties in its portfolio.
Dennis brings deep experience in evaluating new real estate investment opportunities, performing business and financial due diligence, and capital structure and credit analysis.
Dennis received both his undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of Alabama.
Prior to founding Paramount Specialty Finance, Joel spent 9 years at Imperial Capital in their Los Angeles office, where he left in 2014 as a Managing Director. Joel worked on the special situations desk – analyzing, sourcing, and transacting across the entire capital structure, with a specific focus on high yield and distressed credit.
Joel’s customer base included some of the largest and most sophisticated special situation hedge and distressed credit funds in the country.
Joel received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Prior to founding Paramount Specialty Finance, Brian spent his entire career in commercial real estate investment and development. Most recently, Brian was a Partner with a real estate development company focused on build to suit projects across the country working with corporate and franchise tenants. Brian was focused on sourcing, underwriting, structuring, closing, and managing both relationships and development projects.
Brian also served as a Partner with a private equity firm, McCaslin Barrow Henderson, LLC (“McB”). McB makes equity investments in real estate assets and partnerships throughout North America while focusing in the Southwest. McB invests across a broad range of assets types including land, commercial and multifamily properties. During the most recent recession, the focus shifted to distressed investment opportunities.
Brian began his career in real estate with Lincoln Property Company in Dallas as a Financial Analyst. During his time there he participated in analyzing over $1 billion worth of acquisition and development opportunities throughout the U.S.
Brian received both his undergraduate and masters of business administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Prior to joining PSF, Luke oversaw value-add acquisitions in Texas for a multifamily operator, Avesta Holdings. Before Avesta, Luke worked at Hines focusing on mixed-use development in the Mid-Atlantic.
Luke is responsible for sourcing new partnerships with real estate professionals focused on net leased developments.
Luke received his BBA from McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin and his JD from Washington and Lee University School of Law.
